EVENT: NSCS CYBERSHOCK “LET’S STAND TOGETHER”

The CyberShock initiative by the NSCS was to educate Singaporeans about IT security risks, with a strong call to “Let’s Stand Together”.

Suntec City Showcase
We brought education messages of cybersecurity on—ground through an exhibition showcase and roadshow. The showcase that was held at Suntec City featured a giant Lego city of 168,277 pieces, assembled over 100 hours, which was wired for visitors to play a cyber-attack simulation game, dubbed “The Nation”.

22nd GovernmentWare Conference
Visitors were also engaged through photo booths and a Lego play area for younger visitors. We later moved the showcase from the West Atrium to the Suntec Exhibition Hall, where the 22nd GovernmentWare Conference was held, attended by Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs. Over three days, we engaged more than 6000 people.

Home Team Festival
The Home Team Festival in the following month saw us re-assembling the showcase and reaching out to 57,500 visitors over three days. Both the Festival as well as the GovernmentWare showcase received strong press coverage, mentions and blog posts from thought-leaders in the IT field.
